The Educational Opportunities is in charge of guest lectures, helping with workshops such as audition workshops, playwriting script readings, and intern and job opportunities. Madison Lafond is the Educational Opportunities Committee Chair.
Guest lectures occur twice a month. A guest lecture will come a give a 15-20 minute lecture on a subject that the Theater Council believes would benefit students involved with theater. These lectures will take place during the Wednesday 5:00pm meetings.
Workshops are provided to help students strengthen their skills. Each semester there will be an audition workshop that will provide students, seeking to audition for the next semester's shows, with the opportunity to get help with the piece that they are working on for the audition.
This committee also works to find intern and job opportunities in theater. We want to help you build your resumes!
